A J Griffin is 1-0 with a 2.87 ERA in three starts versus Texas lifetime, and but for more run support, would have a better record on the season than 5-6. He pitched a great game against Texas on 13th May, and despite the Rangers finally finding some offense, he can keep Oakland competitive here.
In contrast, Josh Lindblom was chased by the A's on 20th May, when he gave up four runs and seven hits in 4 2/3
innings of a 9-2 loss. He is 1.20/5.95 WHIP/ERA L3.
