Well, that went pretty much as I expected. I think I may be cursed, as the red birds descended into farce last night. You know you're in trouble when two Gold Glovers stand and watch a routine infield flyball drop between them!
John Lackey pitched beautifully last time out, but tonight he opposes the boy wonder, Michael Wacha. Wacha allowed one run on eight hits
over 21 innings this postseason, striking out 22 and claiming the the NLCS MVP.
The Cardinals just have to settle down a little and play some steady ball.
