After halting the skid last night (and making me look a fool) the Rangers send Derek Holland to the mound tonight. Holland has horrible numbers L3 (2.18/10.12 WHIP/ERA) but he has been better on the road and his last three outings against the Rays have been quality starts.
Chris Archer may be tiring down the stretch, as he has posted 1.32/4.61 L3, but is 1.09/3.03 on the season. Archer is 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA in his last three home starts and gave up two runs while striking out 11 in seven innings in a
losing cause at home to Texas in his only meeting with them.
I'll give the home team the edge at the price.
